We made it to Hong Kong and got to our hotel around 11 pm local time. This stay was a formality. We were picked up the next morning around 1030 and transferred to our group hotel, the Regal Hong Kong on Hong Kong Island. The rest of the day we were on our own. We ventured out a little. We stopped by the Hong Kong Central Library. Then we hopped across the street to Victoria Park. Next, we got on the tram and went to the other end of town to the Botanical and Zoological Gardens. Then we made our way back to the hotel. Thought we would eat American since the rest of our trip will be mostly "local" fare. The most common shops here seem to be the 7 Eleven's and Starbucks, home sweet home.
Tara said last night that she was going to text you over and over until you posted! lol! Let's remember that when she is traveling to Thailand!
